10X has partnered with Epokothweni, an organisation that provides financial education in isiXhosa, to create a five-part series of videos in isiXhosa focusing on the fundamentals of saving and investing.

The format is interviews between Epokothweni’s Babalwa Nonkenge and members of 10X’s team. This forms part of 10X’s mission to ensure that all South Africans have access to the tools they need to make their financial goals a reality.

Episode 1: Saving and investing

In the first episode, Babalwa talks to 10X Investment Consultant Asavela Gwele about the importance of developing a habit of saving regularly, not only for the good times but also for unforeseen emergencies. Asavela talks about educating yourself and choosing the right financial products for your savings goals as key to not becoming a burden on others.
