Can I transfer my living annuity to 10X?

Question:

In 2009 I had a retirment annuity with old mutual mature. I invested my 2 third portion in a living annuity, (old mutual max income invested in corronation balanced plus A) is it possible to transfer this living annuity to 10x to avoid paying the high fees?

Answer:

Alex,

Yes, you are permitted to transfer your living annuity from one service provider to another (i.e. to 10X).
To make savings last through retirement, retirees need to minimise fees, maximise returns, and draw a sustainable income. The 10X Living Annuity works hard to cover all these bases.
