Renee, With the 10X Living Annuity, your funds are invested in either a High, Medium or Low Equity portfolio, or in a Conservative (essentially cash and bonds) portfolio, depending on your needs and preferences. Our living annuity uses the same building blocks we use for our pension, provident, preservation and retirement annuity funds. The portfolios use low-cost index investing and hold the following asset classes (in different proportions): SA Equity (top 60 shares in JSE All Share Index); SA Property shares (top 15 SA property shares), SA Bonds (government and inflation-linked bonds), International Equity (Vanguard Global All Cap and Emerging market trackers) and cash (local and overseas).
