What procedure should I follow if my pension fund pay-out was incorrect?

Question:

I have been retrenched & received only half of my pension fund. What procedure should I follow if my pension fund pay-out was incorrect?

Answer:

Justin,

You should have received the full amount of your fund credit, less any tax that is due, and any loans you may taken against the fund. If you think your pension fund pay-out is incorrect (or not according to the fund rules), you should follow the complaints procedure of your Fund administrator.
