Can I make a partial withdrawal from my retirement annuity?

Question:

I am 55 years old. I am allowed to make a partial withdrawal from my retirement annuity?

Answer:

T.T,

No, you cannot access just one part of your retirement annuity. You may access your money at age 55, but you will then be required to access all your money in this retirement annuity and you will be then also be required to use two-thirds to purchase an annuity.
