Can I stay invested in the 10X High Equity portfolio indefinitely?

Question:

I an 55 retirement age 65. I need to save as much as possible in the next 10 years. If I choose may I stay on the high risk option for longer than your plan allows?

Answer:

Trevor, Yes, you can stay invested in the 10X High Equity portfolio for as long as you wish. But you need to inform us of your intention by submitting the necessary switch form (switching you out of the default glide path). Note that our revised glide path only kicks in once you are less than six years from retirement (previously less than 10 years), ie based on your normal retirement age of 65, you would in any event only move out of our High Equity fund in about four years or so.
