Can I take out a retirement annuity after the age of 60?

Question:

can you take out an RA after the age of 60 ? I am 61. if so, how does one go about this ? thank you

Answer:

Yvonne, Yes, you can. You usually go through a broker or the provider's call centre, but some providers allow you to come direct (such as us, 10X Investments). You would then find the necessary application form on their website. 10X offers a low cost, unitised retirement annuity using index funds. Get the application form and more information.
