How much will my pension fund pay-out be?

Question:

I was appointed as an educator on 01/01/2011. If I retire on 01/01/2014, how much will I be paid?

Answer:

Mogambal,

If you belong to a defined contribution fund, you will receive the total value of contributions invested in your fund account, plus your net investment return (after fees). If you belong a defined contribution fund such as the GEPF, you will receive your share of fund,as determined by the fund's actuaries at the time. For a more specific answer you should contact your fund administrator.
