Must retirement annity contributions be deducted from estimated taxable income?

Question:

With regards to provisional tax...must retirement annuity contributions be deducted from estimated taxable income (IRP6 ) - or is this only done when completing the ITR12?

Answer:

Ugen,

This is not our area of expertise; but it would however be logical to consider your deductible retirement annuity contributions when calculating your provisional tax liability.
