Do I qualify for income from my surplus fund?

Question:

I used to work on steel industry from 1986 up to 1998 but i never claim any surplus fund from where i used to work or any in that matter but i saw their name of employer in surplus fund is the any chance i can claim or non

Answer:

Lizo, Surpluses are typically distributed among members who did not receive their full benefit when they left the fund. If you believe there is a surplus apportionment due to you, then you need to contact the fund administrator of the fund you belonged to, and make the relevant enquiries there.
