How are contributions to my pension booster taxed?

What if i contribute R1600 on my pension booster, during pension date will it not be taxed if it exceeds R500000. Thank you

Edgar, If you do not get a tax deduction on the R1 600 pm, you will get this money back tax-free when you resign or retire.
