What do you mean by "apply for my provident fund". Are your referring to claiming your benefit, or to joining a provident fund?
To claim your benefit, you must have resigned or retired from your employer. You must then complete a withdrawal notification form, and submit this, with required supporting documentation, to your HR department. They will counter-sign the form and forward all documents to the fund administrator, who will then follow your instructions.
To join a provident fund, you must become employed by a company that offers such a fund. You will then automatically become a member.
