How is investment risk classified?

Question:

what is cautious, moderate and moderate-aggressive and how will this affect my end results? we received this form from my company to give percentages on each of the above, what is most advisable/

Answer:

Jeemesh, At 10X, we don't use this specific terms, we use High Medium and Low Equity, but they essentially refer to the same thing, namely the amount of equity exposure in the fund. "Cautious" will have low equity exposure, "moderate" will have more, and moderate-aggressive will have still more. What you are missing is the aggressive fund, which would be a high equity fund. Ideally, you will chose the fund appropriate for your investment time horizon. If you are a long-term investor, you should have high exposure to equities, but as a short term investor not so much. We explain this in a more detail on our page about investment mix.
