Question:
am 45 how much will i get when i resign? started in 1996-05.01
Answer:
Lebo, If you are in a defined contribution fund, you will get back your contributions invested (which depends on your contribution rate and your salary) in the fund (net of admin fees and risk premiums deducted), plus the investment return (this depends mainly on your asset mix and the return generated by the market on those assets) net of any fees deducted, net of any tax deducted on payment of the lump sum. We know none of these things about you, so we cannot possibly tell you how much you will get out. Check your benefit statement, or if you belong to the GEPF, ask them for a benefit estimate.
