Nzalee, This means that you stop contributing to the retirement fund (retirement annuity, if applicable) but that you not withdraw the money when you leave the employer (stop making retirement annuity contributions), but rather leave the money until such time that you do need it (or you are allowed to access it in the case of a retirement annuity).
