Will I get a sickness pension if I'm too sick to work?

Question:

If I get sick and cannot work, will I get a sickness pension

Answer:

Mr(s) Maloney, If you are too sick too work (medically proven) and If you have PHI cover from your employer, this will pay you out until you reach retirement age, at which point you must live off your retirement savings. If you do not have such cover and you are medically boarded, you may be allowed to take early retirement, which means you could then access you retirement savings early (ie before age 55).
