How do I claim a deceased member's surplus scheme?
I am a son of the late Jonguxolo Hili who was working at Southern Cross in Bloemfontein. I have been receiving letters from MIBFA informing me about the surplus scheme that my father has to claim, but now I'm stuck. Can I be advised as to how do I proceed with the claim please.
Is it illegal for employers not to pay over pension fund contributions?
Hi there, My husband recently resigned from his job and would like his pension/provident fund to be paid out to him. He contacted his employer to retrieve the documentation in order to request the pay out. His employer then notified him that they only pay over pension fund contributions to the fund once a year on the 1st January. Is this allowed? How can I appeal against full commutation rejection?
I had two Old Mutual RAs in 2010. At that time I arranged with Liberty Life to transfer one of these Old Mutual RAs to Liberty Life. This RA was then combined with a Liberty RA which I had to form one living annuity. I also have a Coronation Living Annuity which I transferred my retirement fund from my employer into in 2009. Can I withdraw my Sanlam RA before age 55?
I have a Sanlam RA which only pays out when I’m 55. Is there absolutely no way I can withdraw my money now? Surely there must be a way? I'm 36 now and I need the money. It is after all MY money? Please help.
